You know you've been watching too much CSI when...

A bit meta for my character as she shouldn't really be able to watch CSI with several CSI characters on her friends list...

Things learned from watching CSI Miami:

1. Always carry a flashlight.
2. Never, EVER lie to Horatio Caine.

...Oh and apparently everyone can drive the Hummer, not just H...which means it's practically a company car. That...is cool.

EDIT: So far, the things I've picked up from CSI: NY is Sid makes breakapart glasses look cool and Flack is just adorable at all times.

Number two is very wise.

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 08:40 am (UTC)(link)
And yet it seems people still do...
:)

I probably could have added that any panoramic angle of Miami never gets tiresome to look at.

I've given up trying to find out what it is they're trying to prove.

They do have nice shots of Miami don't they?

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
*snickers at a thought* Maybe instead of rocking the shades, you should get a t-shirt that says "I know you're lying" in big ominous letters.

Indeed. They must have a separate crew or something.
"Ok, guys, we need more Miami shots"
"*groan* again? we have like fifty thousand shots already?"

[identity profile] lt-horatiocaine.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
We tried something like that once. Eric and Speedle walked back and forth in front of the interrogation room with signs that said 'the sunglasses see into your soul' and 'tell the truth and save everyone time'.

*laugh* Apparently, one can never have too many shots.

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:10 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs* Oh wow, that's just...fantastic. Wish I could have seen that. The suspect must have been either majorly confused or completely psyched out.

[identity profile] lt-horatiocaine.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:32 am (UTC)(link)
Not psyched out enough. He still lied.

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
That must have been one tough suspect. Or at least one with no sense of humor.

I would have been psyched out...or at least been giggling too much to lie or confess. :)

[identity profile] det-lassiter.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:09 am (UTC)(link)
It's just not realistic, letting other people drive...

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:13 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be a bit iffy about letting people drive my personal car...but if it's a shared car, I don't see any problem with it.

[identity profile] dannymesser.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, the Hummer is the company car. They have two or three of them. *used to be a HUGE Miami fan*

I LOVE Sid's glasses. I want a pair.

Yes, Flack is adorable. *loves Flack*

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 09:48 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhh ok. When I first started watching Miami, I got the impression that Horatio owned the Hummer. But since I started watching season 3, there's different people driving it, not just H.

*is seriously considering making a Sid muse*

[identity profile] dannymesser.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
I don't watch Miami much anymore. I loved Seasons 1 and 2. lol Horatio does act like he owns the thing.

You should make a Sid muse. I haven't ever seen a Sid anywhere. He's hilarious in a creepy funny kind of way.

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Creepy? Really?

Well, i guess to be an M.E. you have to be a bit....odd sometimes. :)

[identity profile] dannymesser.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Creepy in a good kinda way. ^_^ I love when Hawkes told him he was goin' to that creepy place again.

Yeah, only workin' with dead bodies would have to make one a little odd.

You should totally play him though. He'd be so much fun on SWS.

Hrm....*will have to start thinking of a livejournal name and hunting up some icons*

[identity profile] dannymesser.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
You should be able to find some Sid icons here [livejournal.com profile] elsiekate and [livejournal.com profile] macayla_csi

sweet! thank you much!

*drum roll*

[identity profile] coroner-glasses.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 10:12 am (UTC)(link)
Ta-da!
Sid muse is made.

Not sure how well I'll play him since I've only been watching a handful of third season episodes but I'll do my best.

YAY! SID!

I love the name. ^_^

Can't wait to see you post with him. :)

Yeah unfortunately "breakapartglasses" was one letter over the limit.

And thanks for the links for the pictures, I found a whole screencap section and spent about three hours making icons. :D

[identity profile] d-bonasera.livejournal.com 2009-02-19 11:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, Sid is cool/creepy in his own way. I love him...but I loved Hawkes better. But now Hawkes isa CSI...so...

I play Hawkes too, BTW. :D

[identity profile] psychette10.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Hawkes is alright, though I think I like Mac, Danny, and Sid better...

[identity profile] dannymesser.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
You love me! *hugs* Love ya too, sweetie!

I love my Mac, too!
