Open House Apartment Post

A message from the mun: This is sort of an open house post. Anyone is welcome to drop in or out to see her apartment, say hi, and eat food or play video games. Psych muses are especially welcome. Slow or fast RPing, either is fine.

Jackie switched off the vacuum and surveyed her handiwork. The apartment was clean from top to bottom, from kitchenette to sofa. (she'd even dug out an old lollypop wrapper that she was sure had been stuck there sometime in the 80's when the couch was sold to her dad...and $1.10 in change) Jackie wrapped up the cord and stuck the vacuum in the closet out of the way and shut the door.
Let's see....the apartment is clean, check...
....goodies were made, double check...
She even had Uno and Twister standing by if things got too boring...
Jackie swiped one of the oreos off of the plates of snacks she had set buffet style along her kitchen counter. Chips, cookies, and soda of various kinds. Munching on her cookie, she hopped over the top of her couch to set herself right in the middle of it contentedly. She clapped her hands dramatically over her head as she laid back on the couch. "Music!" Her music player attached to the clapper under the tv kicked in, her own mix cd blend of 80's music, the beatles, and Gerschwin jazz. "Perfect," she said with a smile. Picking up her nintendo controller, she turned on her snowboarding game that she'd been trying to beat earlier that week. Nothing much to do till someone shows up I guess, she thought to herself as she guided her female character down the snowy video game slopes.

Why was it he was running errands for O'Hara? She was the one who wanted to talk to Spencer about the not-case involving the wedding planner, it was a waste of time, as far as Carlton was concerned. He was getting far too indulgant with his partner lately.

He suspected that she had some ulterior motive sending him about asking for the so-called psychic anyway. And he wouldn't be running around if when he'd rung his cell, it hadn't started ringing in his desk drawer. O'Hara had just given him a look and he didn't want to know what kind of thought was running through her head about why or how Shawn's phone had ended up there...

Following several leads, it was the general concession that his subject would be found at this address. Drawing himself up smartly, he knocked on the door.

(ooc: I don't think Lassie has met her yet, has he?)

Jack walked up the door and was about the knock. Should he really do this? She was good for a laugh but...he sighed to himself. It wasn't as if it was a date or anything. And was sure he wasn't the first person there.

He knocked and almost hoped she was too busy with other guests to answer the door.

It was the middle of the afternoon, the sun shining bright in a fairly warm winter day, when Shawn parked his Norton in front of Jackie's apartment. He took off his gloves and grabbed the Taco bag he had picked in his way to her place and jogged to her door.

"Miss! Your order of awesomeness is here!", he said as loud as he could -he would have shouted, but Jackie said she wanted it to keep it down- he knocked her door.
