Jackie kept down so as to not disturb the rest of the auction and snuck out with Chuck following behind. "Hold on, I want to stick this painting somewhere safe so I don't have to carry it while we're getting autographs."
She wound her way through the booths till she found her friend Ricky's. He was a small time comic book artist helping out with selling stuff. After promising him an autograph as well, he took possession of the painting, hiding it under the table.
While walking back towards the main section of the convention, Jackie got the strangest feeling they were being watched...
