"Good thing I got paid this week..." Jackie said, bidding up to 50 bucks in the end. The two other men looked uncomfortable but didn't dispute it. Jackie grinned as she came back to her seat with the small painting. It was of a small mining colony on an ice planet. "Cool, I like it even better in person. Totally worth it."
She checked one of the men who lost the bid. "He doesn't seem too happy though." She scrunched down in her chair as he glared over at her. "Dude, I thought this was a friendly auction." The second man was nowhere to be seen, must have left.
