Neo winced, uncomfortably ducking his head and running his hand back through his own short hair. He should get Morpheus. He knew he should get Morpheus. Or Trinity. She would probably be a better choice. Jackie might feel better with a woman.

But then she was trying to get up and almost fell off the bed and he couldn't just leave her there. He got up to help her, but stopped halfway toward her. This was awkward. More awkward than when he'd been in the same position. How had Morpheus handled it?
